Film shoot for WW2 period drama 'The Letter' on location in The Gambia

It's a wrap!! After many months of development and planning we have completed the shoot for short WW2 period drama 'The Letter' in The Gambia. This short is directed and produced by James from Skinner Films and co-produced by Gambian author Baaba Sillah. The screenplay for The Letter (written by Christopher Marchant) is based on Baaba's novel Dabbali Gi. The Director of Photography was the fantastic Ezequiel Romero and the film was line produced by Mariama Colley of Studio 411.

Well done to the whole cast and crew for making this production possible. With an incredible team effort, we made it through the demanding 4-day shoot and will have a film we can all be proud of.

Huge thanks to the Diaspora Development Fund, which provided much-needed financial support to this project.
